Thanks for continuing to subscribe to this site. The need for good and clear information on climate seems to be growing.
This post is not a new essay, but is circulated to make available (embedded below) a two-page summary of the major points in the very first essay posted here β Climate Change in Four Easy Steps.
I was invited in to a local church recently to lead a discussion on climate. Not wanting to turn the occasion into a lecture, I just handed out the two-pager embedded here, went through it quickly, and then asked for questions. Good group - good questions - good discussion. As usual, the graphs of the Keeling curve, the temperature record, and the relationship between the two, provided a way to frame our climate trajectory that was new to many.
I printed this on both sides of one piece of paper and made enough copies to give one to each person who attended the discussion.
So, I send this along here in case it would be of use to anyone else given a similar opportunity. It comes as a PDF as Substack does not support embedding WORD files. If you want the original, just let me know. The graphs are derived from the Data Archive file sent previously. Please feel free to pass this along to anyone who might find it useful.
I am still working on the hard copy version of the βtop 30β essays and will let you know when that is finished.
